The contact form
When you submit the contact form , your name (if provided), email address, subject and message are sent so we can handle and answer your enquiry. Local previews cannot send messages until a separate mail service is configured. Once enabled, the website and configured mail service process submissions, which may remain in the mailbox as long as needed to handle them. Do not include photos, passwords or other sensitive information.
The form does not save drafts in our database or persistent browser storage. Security checks use temporary request tokens, send counters and a protected check value derived from the connection address. Message text is not stored in these security records. Expired records are cleared on a subsequent form request after 24 hours at the latest. Ordinary hosting logs are separate.
How we process your photo
Photo analysis and editing run locally in your own browser. Selected photos, metadata, filenames and analysis results are not sent to us. We do not receive them or store them on our servers. During use, they are held temporarily in the open page’s working memory.
We do not save your photos or results for later visits or use persistent browser storage for them. Our website does not include tracking software or advertising trackers.
You choose what to keep
Copying places data on your clipboard; downloading saves a report, new file or ZIP. A download may contain personal information too.
“Clear all” empties the checker’s list. It does not delete original photos on your device, earlier downloads or your clipboard. Closing the page also does not delete files you have saved.
Your removal choices apply to the new copy
Selective removal and rechecking also run on your device. You might choose to remove location while keeping the capture date, so the copy can intentionally retain personal information. Read the sections Removed, Preserved and Not fully checked before downloading.
Your selection also applies when creating copies of a whole batch. Changing the selection discards earlier copies in the overview, which must be recreated. Previously downloaded files and your original photos are unchanged.
We can preserve only supported photo metadata. Descriptions, thumbnails and other additional metadata are always omitted. Color information may remain and may contain text; there is no guarantee that all hidden information is removed.
Opening a map is your choice
When GPS data is found, the location includes the button View on Google Maps. Only choosing that button opens an external Google Maps page with the coordinates. Google then also receives ordinary connection data, such as your IP address and browser information. We do not send a photo, filename or other metadata with it.
Without GPS, no map button appears. We do not load an embedded map in the checker. Closing Google Maps does not undo data already shared.
What does the hosting provider receive?
Opening this website sends normal request information to the hosting provider, such as your IP address, page address and browser information. The provider may retain it according to its own settings. Your photo is processed on your device. Your chosen photo, metadata and analysis results are not sent to us or the hosting provider or stored on our servers. Visiting a page and processing a photo locally are separate actions.
A copy still needs your own checks
Removing metadata leaves your original intact. We read the JPEG copy again before you download it. Information needed for orientation or colors may remain. Color profiles may contain text, so the copy is not guaranteed to be free of all metadata.
Before sharing, inspect the visible image and filename too. Read the practical photo privacy checklist.
Privacy of the individual photo tools
Editing, comparing, duplicate detection, resizing, cropping, provenance reading, panorama viewing and image analysis all run on your device. Your photos and metadata are not sent to us or stored on our servers. Larger components load only when used; the hosting provider receives requests for those website files only. Example illustrations are also website files sent to your browser. Your own photos are not uploaded to us.
Extended metadata analysis uses a temporary filesystem in working memory. We clear it after analysis and shut down the processing component. Photos are not saved in persistent browser storage. Use Clear / stop to stop the task and clear files, previews and download links in the tool. Downloads you already saved remain on your device.
Content Credentials are read only from locally available data. We do not fetch external manifests, trust lists or online certificate statuses, so some provenance checks remain incomplete. The 360° viewer opens only your chosen local panorama and does not move automatically.
Compression, conversion, redaction and other edits
Compression, conversion, redaction, watermarking and rotation run in your browser too. Your photos, any chosen logo and metadata are not sent to us or stored on our servers. The generated copies do not inherit source metadata. Compression and conversion can change pixels, transparency and colors; check the result. Redaction bakes opaque shapes into a new PNG. Your original photo remains on your device.
