Refine the crop
Move the selection, drag corners and edges, or enter position and dimensions.
Check the position
Use guides, Center crop, Undo or Reset.
Create and download your crop
Choose Preview crop. Inspect the dialog and download your new PNG.

Frequently asked questions
Is cropping the same as resizing?
No. Cropping removes image content. Resizing recalculates the same image with fewer pixels. You can use both operations in sequence.
Can I save the result as JPEG?
The crop tool creates PNG. Open that copy in Convert images and choose JPG or WebP, for example. For JPG, transparent areas take the selected background color.
Does provenance information remain valid?
The new PNG does not copy source metadata or Content Credentials. Cropping changes image content; existing provenance claims are not confirmed for the new crop.
