How to use this photo tool

Frequently asked questions

Can I delete duplicate photos from my entire library?

No. We compare only selected files. Remove from selection only excludes a photo from this comparison. We do not delete original files on your device or automatically search your library.

Is hash distance a similarity percentage?

No. It measures a distance between image features. A small distance may indicate similarity but offers no certainty or percentage.

Why are some duplicate photos missed?

Rotation, different crops and strong color differences can change image features. False matches can also occur; inspect the images yourself.
